Chinese tourists have shown the world their spending power. Russians: Traditional Chinese medicine, calligraphy, accessories

Most foreigners have an eye for traditional Chinese specialty products. Christina from Russia says that she has lived in China for seven years. What she buys most is traditional Chinese medicine. "Chinese medicine is amazing. One medicine could have a variety of effects, such as Essential Balm (风油精), which cures both headaches and mosquito bites. Before I came to China, my grandmother asked me to buy her the Chinese ointment for curing arthritis. " In addition to medicine, Christina is also interested in Chinese calligraphy. She has a collection of many framed paintings and calligraphy. Tanya, one of Christina's friends is fascinated by accessories, and took home a lot of embroidered balls, fans, Chinese knots and sachets. Christina says that she also takes home gift boxes of Beijing snacks such as green bean cakes and glutinous rice rolls with sweet been flour. "When I first tasted these snacks I thought they were very special."

Koreans: national costumes, accessories

Kim Chowon and Park Jungna from South Korea were on a two-week tour in China. "I want to have a tailor-made cheongsam and wear it when I visit the gardens in Southern China," says Kim. Her elder sister asked her to buy a pair of tiger shoes for her newborn nephew.Park Jungn said that China is a large country. There are many exotic and unusual things to buy in China which make wonderful souvenirs and gifts for relatives and friends back home.
