Location: Dali city, southwest China's Yunnan province

Established  in 1382 in the MingDynasty (1368-1644), Dali Ancient City was once a vital communications hub where trade caravans gathered around prosperous markets.

Dali Ancient City stretches more than 2,000 meters from north to south and still preserves a large number of structures built in the Ming and Qing (1636-1912) dynasties such as temples, academies, and churches.

Here, visitors can also take part in the leisure activities like soaking in a hot spring, picking herbs, and brewing tea to treat themselves to a slice of peace.
