Location: Hangzhou city, capital of east China's Zhejiang province

Consisting of more than 1,000 islands and boasting up to 80% forest coverage, the Qiandao Lake tourist resort, with its natural beauty and favorable ecology is heaven for various species of wildlife.

History buffs will especially enjoy the resort as it is home to many ancient cultural sites and tombs dating back to the Neolithic Age as well as the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC) and the Warring States Period (475-221 BC).
