Nearly one hundred agricultural products in 21 categories from Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region have tapped the markets of 92 countries and regions in the first 11 months of this year, with the total exports hitting US$ 240 million, up 48.2 percent from a year earlier, according to the figures by the local inspection and quarantine Bureau.

Among the exports, apple juices, tomato sauce and grains saw an increase by more than 100 percent. The region exported seven fruit & vegetable seeds and sunflower seeds for the first time in August and began shipment of 5,500 tons of rice to South Korea this year.

Meanwhile, the regional exports of beef and mutton also saw a quick increase during the China-Arab States Economic and Trade Forum held in the region this year.
