Yinchuan municipal government recently published a regulation on solid waste online reporting in a bid to prevent solid waste's pollution to the environment, marking the establishment of dynamic tracking and monitoring system of solid wastes in the region.

Wang Xueping, head of the regulatory department of the municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, said companies and individuals who discharge solid wastes must make online reporting in the future.

The new deal requires reporting of predicted annual discharge before Jan. 15 and actual quarterly discharge within the first 7 days of the next quarter.
