Herons returning to Ningxia

Herons fly over the Bird Island inside the Sand Lake scenic spot in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Herons migrated to the southern China for winter return to the island as temperature rises gradually. Covering an area of 4,247 hectares, the island is home to nearly 200 bird species. [Photo: Xinhua]
