The 2012 China (Ningxia) Organic Food Expo is slated to open at the Yinchuan International Conference Center, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on May 11.

Sponsored by the Yinchuan municipal government, the regional commerce department and the regional exposition administration, the 10-day event aims to create a communication platform for the organic food industry and promote the industry’s upgrading.

With an exhibition area of nearly 5,000 square meters, the expo will gather featured organic foods and life necessities from around the country.

A series of activities, including an organic food and e-commerce seminar, an organic food fair, summits and agricultural products signing ceremonies, will also be staged during the period.
