The 5th Assembly of Ethnic Hui Merchants will be held in Wuzhong City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, from September 11th to 17th, 2012.

The event, which carries the theme of promoting communication and cooperation, will include such events as an opening ceremony, the 2nd Halal Food Culture Festival and the 2nd Halal and Muslim Goods Expo.

The previous four assemblies have resulted in a total of 86 contracts, totaling 108.328 billion yuan.
