The government of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region signed a scientific and technological cooperation framework agreement with the Beijing Municipal Government, according to a contract signing ceremony held in Beijing on January 7, 2013.

The two regions will strengthen cooperation on applicable technology and personnel training and facilitate exchanges among the two regions’ scientific institutions and industrial parks to promote the development of high-tech, competitive specialty and strategic new emerging industries, according to the agreement.

At present, more than ten high-tech corporations in Ningxia have conducted cooperation projects with Beijing corporations, colleges and scientific institutions.
