An additional 12 towns and villages in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region have recently been awarded the honor of National Ecologically Well-Preserved Towns and Villages by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, according to the Ningxia Department of Environmental Protection on January 8.

The 12 towns and villages are: Beipu Town in Yinchuan City, Linhe Town in Lingwu City, Jingheyuan Town in Guyuan City, Chengguan Town and Shatang Town in Longde County, Hongguozi Town in Shizuishan City, Taole Town in Pingluo County, Banqiao Town in Wuzhong City, Gaoshawo Town in Yanchi County, Haicheng Town and Dongyuan Town in Zhongwei City and Pingjipu Dairy Farm in Ningxia Agriculture Reclamation Bureau.

Currently, Ningxia has built up 20 national ecologically well-preserved towns and villages across the region.
