The World Bank’s Rural Worker Training and Employment Loan Project helped train nearly 70,000 rural workers in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from 2010 to 2011, according to a status report on the project released on January 16.

Among these, 52,450 passed various skills tests. Meanwhile, the employment rate among migrant workers in Ningxia surpassed 90 percent.

The World Bank’s special loan equipped Guyuan City with training vehicles that facilitate the rural worker training in remote countries and the project benefit the people definitely, according to the spokesman for the Guyuan Human Resources and Social Security Bureau.
