The Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, was awarded the “Best New Arrival” for wine production bases around the globe by the Hurun Research Institute, according to the newly released 2013 Hurun Report Chinese Luxury Consumer Survey on January 15.

Western Xia King Wine was named a star performer among local wine brands. At the award ceremony, Rupert Hoogewerf, the publisher of Hurun Report, expressed that he hopes Ningxia can continue to produce world renowned wines. It is reported that the eastern foot of Helan Mountain was recognized as one of the best upcoming places for wine production.
