The first West China Desert Musical Festival will take place at the Binggou Scenic Spot in Binhe New Area, Yinchuan City, from May 1 to 2.

Sponsored by the organizing committee of the Binhe New Area, the activity aims to advocate self-driving travel, create the largest outdoors musical feast in northwestern China and promote tourism resources in the new area.

A total of 32 bands and musical specialists from all over western China will be on stage presenting their best performances for eight hours every day.
