Recently, a natural cave with some Paleolithic and Neolithic remains was found in Yandongzi Bay, which was preliminarily judged as the Paleolithic human cave relic.

The cave is divided into four parts including the entrance, vestibule, aisle and back hall. The cave is dry with fresh air, but it is dark inside with cultural remains everywhere. As the vestibule of the cave is so low, people cannot walk upright there. Heavy stone tools such as broad stone axe, narrow stone axe and smashing tool.

There are also stone tools for making food. Since the cave is not found through archaeology, the relative information about the cave can only be speculated through its type. As the only cave ruin found in Ningxia, it can provide infrequent evidences to research and explore the living environment of the ancient human beings for scientific archaeology in our country.
