Ningxia’s export of Chinese wolfberry topped 50 million dollars

According to Ningxia Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the first three quarters, the export volume and value of Chinese wolfberry are 4359.3 tons and 51.942 million dollars, up 67.4% and 119.1% respectively over the same period of previous year.

With the increasingly high criterion of exportation, Ningxia Forestry Department has signed a memorandum of cooperation on facilitating Chinese wolfberry’s industrial development with Ningxia Inspection and Quarantine Bureau and Zhongning County Government. For now, there are 50 thousand mu of planting area in the demonstration sites, which have been selected as national QS (quality safety) demonstration area for food and agricultural products exportation.

Moreover, there are 23 qualified Chinese wolfberry companies, whose products are exported to over 50 countries and regions such as EU, the US, Australia, Japan and Russia, etc.
