According to the list of the 2014 China Human Settlements Example Award published by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, including the projects of WSHP heating buildings in the commercial housing of Zhongwei and wetland ecosystem protection of reservoir area of Qingtongxia in Ningxia. Until now, there are 14 projects in Ningxia have won the award.

The China Human Settlements Example Award is a governmental-level award settled referring to the UN Human Settlements Example Award, which is the highest honor in the area of the construction of national human settlements.

The WSHP heating buildings in the commercial housing of Zhongwei occupy an area of nearly 1 million square meters, which break the traditional heating approach without carbon dioxide emission.

The wetland ecosystem protection of reservoir area of Qingtongxia occupies an area of 294,000 mu, including the national-level wildlife epidemic disease monitoring station, wetland research center, protection station, etc.
