Taiwan-Ningxia Economic and Cultural Exchange Week concludes

The Cross-Straits (Ningxia) Economic and Trade Economic, Trade and Cultural Cooperation and Exchange Activity Week concluded in Taiwan on March 30. The Secretary of CPC Ningxia Hui Autonomous Regional Committee Li Jian made remarks to the press in Taipei before the Ningxia delegation left for Yinchuan.

It is the first time for Ningxia to hold such a large-scale economic, trade, cultural exchange activity in Taiwan and with the support of every part, the event is held with success, said Li. During the week, Ningxia delegation had close contact with politicians, business elites, juveniles and people from all walks in Taiwan. A series of colorful exchange activities were held to deepen interaction and cooperation in economic and trade sectors between the two places.

“Taiwan has advanced experience in modern agriculture, cultural innovation, tourism, information technology and modern services and we should learn more from them,” said Li. Many Taiwan enterprises expressed intentions to deepen cooperation with counterparts in Ningxia in the near future. The delegation also paid visits to aboriginal tribes in Taiwan to facilitate friendly exchanges between minority groups.

Li finally addressed that the activity has explored more cooperation space and the complementary development will achieve great accomplishments in future.
