Ningxia joins unified clearance along Silk Road Economic Belt

The Yinchuan Customs has joined the unified regional clearance with 9 other cities along the Silk Road Economic Belt and the service will be initiated on May 1, according to Yinchuan Customs on March 31.

It is said that the reform will break through the administrative borders of different provinces, simplify the clearance procedures and lower the logistics cost, according to the Yinchuan Customs. A total of nine provinces and autonomous regions, namely Shandong, Henan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qingdao, Xinjiang and Tibet, have joined the unified clearance reform of customs along the Silk Road Economic Belt.

The officer of Yinchuan Customs said that enterprises along the Silk Road Economic Belt can deal with declaration, taxes paying, checking and discharging at the place where the business is registered or where the cargo is imported or exported and all its subordinated customs.

Li Xiaomin, the director of Yinchuan Customs, said that the cooperation among all the customs along the Silk Road Economic Belt will form a unified clearance region with high efficiency to facilitate economic communication and people-to-people exchange.
