The first batch of overseas direct-purchasing goods from Germany worth 60 thousand yuan was cleared through customs by Ningxia cross-border e-commerce platform “Silk Road Purchase” at Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Area. This marks Yinchuan has realized overseas direct purchase of cross-border e-commerce.

In December, 2014, Yinchuan officially launched its cross-border e-commerce after it had been approved by General Administration of Customs to become an e-commerce pilot city. The first batch of export goods was sent mainly to UAE and Saudi Arabia through souq.com, the largest e-commerce platform in Middle East. Goods transacted on Yinchuan cross-border e-commerce platform could reach the destination country in 7 days.

“After establishing the first bonded exhibition shop for cross-border commodities, we have negotiated with manufactures from USA, German, France, Italy, Japan and Korea, and carry on business primarily like Japanese or Korean cosmetics, European maternal and infant products and luxuries. Later we’ll have more than 10 thousand kinds of goods.” said an employee from Ningxia Silk Road ePath Co., Ltd.
