At the beginning of 2015, the Ministry of Science and Technology ratified China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center would settle in Ningxia, requiring Ningxia to take full advantage of this opportunity, gathering the national scientific innovation elements and technology resources to better the construction of it.

The center will be inaugurated during the opening ceremony of China-Arab States Expo in 2015.

The first joint meeting of the center will be held during the Expo to promote the relevant sides of China and Arab countries to implement the signed projects and agreements, organize the enterprises and institutions in and out of Ningxia to develop and construct relative projects in Arab states, support young scientists, technicians and scientific research management staff from Arab countries to further study and get training in China, and assist youngsters from Arab states and China to innovate and start a business.

The center will become the main platform for technology transfer and scientific cooperation between China and Arab countries, and play a significant role in the construction of “Open Ningxia” and “One Belt And One Road”.
