Ningxia wine products won 9 gold awards at Berliner Wein Trophy, one of the five top international wine competitions. Ningxia’s gold awards account for 40% of the gold awards won by Chinese wines.

Supervised jointly by OIV (International Organization for Vine and Wine) and UIOE (International Union of Oenologists), Berliner Wein Trophy is a most authoritative wine competition worldwide.

Of the more than 4,300 wine products judged in its 19th event, over 80 were from China’s wine regions, including Yanhuai Valley in Beijing and Hebei, eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia, Heshuo County in Xinjiang, Shandong Peninsula, Huanren County in Liaoning, etc.

30 wines from China won gold and silver medals.

Of the award-winning wines, 11 were from Ningxia. The gold award winners were Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 of Xixiaking Wine Industry (group) co., ltd, Marselan 2013 of Pushang winery, to name just a few. With most award-winning products among China’s wine regions, Ningxia, especially eastern foot of Helan Mountain, proofed itself again at the witness of the world.
