Yinchuan museums open to public for free on May 18

A total of 9 state-owned museums in Yinchuan City, capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, were open to the public for free on May 18, the 40th International Day.

Boasting abundant historical relics, museums and memorial halls, the city of Yinchuan held various cultural heritage protection activities yesterday, including themed performances at the Western Xia Mausoleum and Yuhuangge Square.

It is reported that until now there are 22 museums and 11 state-level key culture relic protection sites in Yinchuan and a total of 9109 pieces of cultural relics have been registered.
