China’s first Chinese Wolfberry E-exchange was established in Zhongning County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on May 22, providing a standard and convenient third-party exchange platform and lowering the trading costs.

Jointly funded by the government, the industrial capital and the core enterprises, the e-exchange aims to become a comprehensive service platform with functions of spot trading, finance, storage and logistics and attract more dealers and clients.

It is reported that the planting area of Chinese wolfberry in Zhongning has now totaled 13,333 hectares and its annual output reached 48,000 tons, accounting for 20.3 percent of the national volume. The products are now sold in 30 more countries and regions and its export volume accounts for over 50 percent of the national figure.
