The imports and exports volume in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region totaled 9.78 billion yuan in the first half of this year, up by 4.4 percent year on year, according to Yinchuan Customs on July 27.

The trade surplus reached 4.1 billion yuan during the same period.

The pharmaceuticals, textiles and medicine materials are main exported goods and commodities are main imported goods to Ningxia.
