Brand value of Zhongning produced Chinese wolfberry reaches 16b yuan, March 28, 2017 Print  E-mail

The brand value of the Chinese wolfberry produced in Zhongning City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, is estimated to reach 16.16 billion yuan, according to the result of the 2016 Regional Brand Value Assessment Activity recently released in Beijing.

The output value of the Chinese wolfberry produced in Ningxia totaled 13 billion yuan in 2016. By the end of last year, there were some 200 Chinese wolfberry production, processing and distribution enterprises in Ningxia and the product was exported to more than 50 countries and regions.

According to the activity held by the China Quality Certification Center, the total value of 160 regional brands reached 1.54 trillion yuan, up by 46 percent year on year.
