Wang Dongming promotes Sichuan tourism
Wang Dongming, secretary of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee, invited journalists from home and abroad to visit Sichuan at a panel meeting of the Sichuan delegation during the ongoing annual "two sessions" in Beijing on March 7.
"Some of our media friends may have not been to Sichuan. Sichuan is a good place and I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to Sichuan for visiting, interviewing and touring purposes," Wang, also head of the Sichuan Delegation, delivered this message to journalists.
Wang noted, "Sichuan boasts beautiful natural scenery and colorful culture." The province is home to the cute Giant Panda, as well as five World Cultural and Natural Heritage sites.
"The province is abundant in rich tourism resources, including numerous national tourism attractions and natural reserves," Wang said.
Wang said, "Nobody can resist the glamour of Sichuan's tea, wine, cuisine and Sichuan Opera."
