The festival will feature an amazingly beautiful landscape of red leaves across an area of 680 square kilometers, the largest in Asia.

Between mid-October and late November, the leaves of more than 40 species of trees on the mountain ranges and in the valleys will turn red and yellow, offering visitors a grand visual feast.

During the festival, various activities will be held, including gourmet food festival, photography contest, tourism products trade fair and folk cultural performances.

In 2008, Guangwu Mountain Scenic Spot was named "Home of Red Leaves in China" by China Economic Forest Association.

The festival will conclude on November 18.
