Chengdu int'l tourism expo to return in Dec.

Professionals from more than 300 tourism-related institutions in 30 countries and regions will gather in Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province, for the upcoming 2016 Chengdu International Tourism Expo (CITE).

The expo, to be held between December 2 and 4 at the Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center, will offer a grand platform for tourism organizations, travel operators, destinations and airlines to find new cooperation opportunities through an array of activities, including exhibitions, biz-talks and networking sessions.

Israel Government Tourist Office (IGTO) will organize around 16 exhibitors to attend this year's expo, and Sichuan Provincial Tourism Bureau will present the province's tourism products designed for spring in 2016.

Famous Chinese online travel agency Tuniu will stage a summit on Internet+road trip and a tourism products auction during the three-day expo.

The event, the fourth edition of its kind, is co-hosted by the Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd and CEMS (Beijing) Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd.
