10 foreigners awarded ambassadors of Three Kingdom Cultural Tourism Festival

Ten foreigners were awarded the first batch of "ambassador" titles for the Three Kingdom Cultural Tourism Festival on June 27 at the Jianmenguan scenic spot, in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province.

Jianmenguan is a blend of natural heritage and cultural heritage with magnificent and picturesque views.

Starting from April, more than 500 people from over 30 countries applied on Facebook and Twitter to become ambassadors for the Three Kingdom Cultural Tourism Festival. Finally ten candidates from the U.S., Russia, France, Thailand, South Korea, Nepal, South Africa, Ukraine, Turkmenistan and Poland became the first batch of ambassadors, with the oldest aged 73 and the youngest 24. Though they are from different countries with varied cultural background, they all love peace, friendship and travel.

These ambassadors will shoulder the responsibility of introducing the Jianmenguan scenic spot to the world.

The ambassadors are:

NIMESH PRASAD SHRESTHA from Nepal

SZYMANSKI LUKASZ from Poland

SERGII MELNTCHENKO from Ukraine

NATALIA CHEREPANOVQ from Russia

STEVE LOUIS NICOLAS VUSCHNER from France

HAMA BOUBACAR from South Africa

SONGDAYEON from South Korea

SOABETOVA OGULJEREN from Turkmenistan

ANCHAYA YAPRASERT from Thailand
