The Sichuan Provincial Tourism Development Committee held a tourism promotion in Kuala Lumpur, the Capital of Malaysia on Oct 14. The promotion has attracted more than 120 local tourism professionals and 150 media guests.

The trip is part of the "Beautiful China, more than pandas" overseas tourism marketing campaign sponsored by China National Tourism Administration and organized by Sichuan Tourism Development Commission.

Chen Hanwen, vice Director of International Promotional Division (Asia/Africa) of Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board adressed the huge influence of Sichuan tourism in Malaysia and expressed the hope that the travel can benefit Malaysia and Sichuan.

In the event, the delegation introduced Sichuan's abundant tourism resources, gourmet food, culture and folk customs. Besides, stunning Sichuan opera face-changing performance staged at the event impressed the participants.

Golden Destinations, the most leading business to business travel wholesaler in Malaysia, planned to carry out "10000 Malaysian Touring Sichuan 2017" on the event site with Sichuan delegates.
