Chengdu expands int'l flight routes

Chengdu, capital city of Sichuan Province, opened ten international flight routes in 2016, increasing its international and regional routes to 95, according to latest statistics released by Sichuan Province Airport Group Co., Ltd. on Jan. 3.

The city, which operates a total of 270 flight routes, has greatly enhanced its accessibility.

By the end of 2016, Chengdu has opened flight services to 209 cities in the world, including 131 at home.

The city will open more international and regional routes in 2017, including the ones to the Bali Island, New York, Addis Ababa, Auckland and Sochi.
