Fu Yonglin meets Nepal tourism delegation

Fu Yonglin, head of Sichuan Tourism Development Commission, met with a tourism delegation from Nepal on February 24.

Fu exchanged views on tourism cooperation between Nepal and Sichuan with the delegation headed by the Director of Nepal Tourism Board.

Nepal, as a neighbor of China, boasts rich natural heritages and Buddhist culture, which holds great appeal for tourists from Sichuan. Fu suggested Nepal make tailored tourist routes, and improve infrastructure and tourism services. Sichuan will, according to Fu, will support Nepal to increase its popularity as a tourist destination in Sichuan.

Chairman of Nepal Tourism Board said that he expected the visit to help increase exchanges on tourism cooperation between Sichuan and Nepal.

Two friendly delegation headed by officials from Sichuan provincial government will visit Nepal in March and September respectively to promote Sichuan’s tourism resources and facilitate friendly exchanges between Sichuan and Nepal people.

Nepal will promote its tourism resources in Sichuan in June and July.
