Five well-known scenic areas along western Sichuan travelling loop line formed an alliance to achieve win-win collaboration, it was announced at a press conference in Chengdu on March 23.

The alliance also rolled out selected tour line products during the event.

The five scenic areas are Wolong, Siguniang Mountain, Jiaju Tibetan Village, Hailuo Gully and Bifeng Peak and they aim to develop a gold travelling corridor.

All scenic areas along the loop line will draw on their respective advantages to design distinctive travelling routes and work together to advertise.

The loop line was formed in 2006 but was cut off during the Wenchuan Earthquake in 2008 and ensuing secondary distasters. The line has remained obscure until now.
