Shunan Bamboo Forest to host Bamboo Shoots Festival

The fifteenth “Bamboo Shoots Festival” will be held in Shunan bamboo forest on April 2 in Changning county, Yibin city.

While appreciating the beauty of nature, visitors can also enjoy delicacies, excellent cultural and art performance and have the opportunity to participate in non-profitable activities together with Internet celebrities who have hundreds of thousands of fans.

A forum on environmental protection will be held concurrently. Participants will discuss issues concerning environmental protection with on-site audiences and on-line audiences of a live streaming. Participants will propose new measures to protect environment and call for more corresponding efforts.

Internet celebrities will guide tourists through the scenic area to breathe the fresh air and explore the mystery of the Shunan bamboo forest.

Moreover, tourists can also enjoy delicacies with these celebrities and all activities will be broadcast live by these online celebrities. On-site audiences can get bamboo-made delicacies, free access to the scenic area, and other gifts by participating in these activities and sharing the video. A visual and audio feast will be delivered to visitors through a fashion show and cheongsam show with the theme of environmental protection, a two-person laser dance performance, a Kara OK for all and other innovative shows of art and culture.
