The Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area reopened to the public on March 8 after closed for three months to restore natural environment during winter.

The cableway at the Hongyanguan Gully resumed operation as well.

Currently the ticket to the scenic area is priced at 60 yuan per person according to the off season standards.

Covering 60,000 hectares of land in the Minshan Mountains, Huanglong is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Songpan county, Aba Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture, northern Sichuan.

It boasts rolling snow mountains, spectacular glacier sceneries and travertine landscapes, and rich forest biodiversity.
