Sichuan’s giant panda eco-tourism sites alliance was established following a founding ceremony in Chengdu late April.

Several giant panda habitat areas have been incorporated into the newly founded alliance, including the Siguniang Mountain scenic area, the Wolong national nature reserve, the World Heritage site Mount Qingcheng and Dujiangyan Irrigation System, the Bifengxia scenic area, and Baoxing county.

The alliance members intend to consolidate their tourism resources to enrich the diversity of eco-tourism in Sichuan while highlighting giant panda-featured tourism routes.
