A hurried journey to China's most beautiful lake

Next we stop for 15 minutes alongside a very narrow and strange river- the Daotang River-at the northwestern foot of Mt. Riyue. As its name implies, the Daotang River flows from east to west unlike most of China's rivers, which flow from west where the terrain is higher to east where it is lower. It is so narrow that it appears to be more of a stream than a river.
