Stewardesses from the Jiangsu branch of China Eastern Airlines will wear new uniforms from Friday to promote weekend chartered flights across the Taiwan Straits.

The brocade uniforms follow the traditional cheongsam style, with different colors and patterns to match each stewardess' complexions, Wu Guolan, Manager of the airlines' cabin section, told the Jinling Evening News.
