The late fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent left behind a legacy of haute couture and one of the world's best collections of fine art. That private collection will go on the auction block at Christies.

Nearly four months after the death of Yves Saint Laurent, Pierre Berge, YSL's partner is putting the art pieces they accumulated over the years up for auction.

Over 700 objects including paintings, sculptures, furniture and ceramics will be on the auction block at Christie's for three days at Paris' Grand Palais.
