In Mumbai, two hotels that experienced last month's deadly terror attack have reopened amid tight security. A group of terrorists killed 164 people over the course of a three-day siege in Mumbai that started on November 26th.

Receptionists answer telephones at the front desk of the Trident hotel in Mumbai, on December 20, 2008.

The five-star Oberoi and the city's landmark Taj Mahal were among several popular sites in the city that suffered one of the most brazen attacks in India's history.

Nearly a month after the deadly terror attacks in November, India's financial hub witnessed a sign of recovery.

A reception was held on Sunday to mark the reopening of the tower section of Mumbai's landmark Taj Mahal Hotel.

About 1,000 invited guests attended the reception. Among them were survivors of last month's rampage as well as commandos and medical staff who participated in the rescue operation.
