Lu Chen is the young magician from Taiwan who thrilled television viewers with his tricks during the 2009 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Lu's fabulous performance piqued the curiosity of fans, and, inspired by him, many have taken to studying the art of magic. In Beijing, magic schools and magic prop stores have been inundated.

This trick uses elastic bands and is called "magic hands". It is one of Lu Chen's trademark illusions. It's on display in many magic prop stores.
