Training program launched to help graduates find jobs
Adjust font size:

The government is launching a new training program to help college graduates find jobs. A circular issued by the State Council says the program aims to create work for one million unemployed college graduates.

The circular does not suggest a fixed length or pay scale of the training. But it says local government and organizations which provide training must offer basic living subsidies to the trainees.

The government says it will develop training bases for the program with responsible employers. China has over six million college students due to graduate this year. One million of last year's graduates are still looking for jobs.
