Adjust font size:

Southwest China's Yunnan province continues to battle a raging forest fire that began across the border in Myanmar last week.

As of Monday noon, the fire had scorched more than 250 hectares in China, and continues to spread. No casualties have been reported. Thousand of soldiers and firefighters are fighting the blaze. They dug a 15-kilometer firebreak on Sunday. But strong winds, dry weather and mountainous terrain are hampering efforts.
