Senior CPC official: China-ROK ties see rapid growth

Senior official of the Communist Party of China, Li Changchun, has met with South Korean President, Lee Myung-bak, in Seoul.

During their meeting, Li Changchun said the development of bilateral relations between the two countries has been rapid, and the relationship has entered a new era. He said China attaches great importance to its relations with South Korea.

Li Changchun said the two countries should strengthen high-level exchanges and improve the mutual political trust, and work together to cope with the economic crisis. He also called for the expansion of cultural exchanges.
