China's Southern provinces have been hit by heavy rain since Thursday. The rain caused a landslide in Guangdong Province, killing two people.

The water level of the Pearl River in the provincial capital Guangzhou rose to 1.5 meters above the normal height.

Experts have forecast that the water level will continue to rise in the next two days. The rain also hit Jiangxi, Yunnan and Hunan provinces.
