An explosion at a chemical plant in central China's Henan Province has killed five workers and hospitalized 108 others.

The blast happened early this morning at the Luoran Company in Luoyang City. It set off a big fire in the surrounding area. Firefighters have extinguished the blaze, and rescuers are searching for two missing workers. Residents within a one-kilometer radius have been evacuated. An investigation is underway.
