China, Pakistan agree to deepen partnership

Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi and his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi held talks in Bejing on Monday, agreeing to deepen the two nations' strategic and cooperative partnership.

The two sides also agreed to expand their pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and strengthen coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs for a continuous development of bilateral ties.

Qureshi is paying an official visit to China from Feb. 21 to 25 at the invitation of Yang.
