A majority coalition has been formed at the Ukrainian parliament, parliament speaker Volodymyr Lytvyn announced at a parliamentary session on Thursday.

"The coalition has been formed on the basis of an agreement signed by heads of the factions of the Regions Party, the Communist Party, the Litvyn bloc -- 235 deputies in all," Lytvyn said at a parliamentary session.
