About 500 people including those having opposed the early-House dissolution gathered Tuesday at the Victory Monument in Thai capital Bangkok.

Among the 500 people at the gathering also included the fans of the anti "red shirt" page of facebook, The Nation newspaper's website said.

Their gathering was organized amid the ongoing anti-government rally by the "red-shirts".

As they were gathering, a group of the "red-shirts" on their motorcyclists rode past, and the two opposite sides concerning the country's politics hurled abusive words against each other, but there was no violence.

The gathering of the 500 people was held amid the ongoing mass rally by the anti-government "red-shirts" which kicked off on March 12.

The "red-shirts" have now occupied two places as their main rally sites including the Phan Fah Bridge and Rathchaprasong Intersection in the center of capital Bangkok.

They have demanded Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva to " immediately" dissolve the lower House of parliament and hold a new general election.

The "red-shirts" have still viewed that, apart from the House dissolution, there is no other solution to the country's ongoing political conflict.
