Supporters of Kyrgyz interim government and ousted President Kurmanbek Bakiyev clashed on Friday in the southern cities of Osh and Jalalabad, the RIA news agency reported.

The clashes came after hundreds of supporters of Bakiyev, who has been forced into exile in Belarus, seized government buildings in the southern cities of Osh, Batken and Jalalabad Thursday.

Kyrgyz interim government said on Friday that a former advisor to Bakiyev was behind the occupation of three regional government buildings in the south of the country.
